Got a FREE 81-s Type II Lincoln Today!

So I went to my local coin shop today and starting talking to the son of the owner and the discussion turned to Type II mintmarks. How to identify them, ect. Well long story short, I checked his lincoln inventory and out of 20 proof 81s, he had eight type IIs. Which he had mistakenly marked as type Is and were selling for $2 each. I showed him the differences, he pulled the coins re-priced them and for saving him a boatload of money he let me have one.
So I picked a nice toned one (yellows & reds) for free.
I see so many dealers misattributing these coins, some, like in this case, cheating themselves and in others selling type Is as IIs and ripping off the customer. Does anyone else notice this? For the VAM fans, does this happen with Morgans as well?

The mintmarks are the same on all the typeIIs, once you know what they look like and see it in person, it's easy to identify on any of the coins.
