Kudos to PCGS Response Time

I just received 3 of my coins that were submitted at the Long Beach Show 28 Feb. Good job PCGS!!! Now all I have to wait for is a reholdering and a "Round Tabled" coin to arrive, submitted at the same show!

One problem with the ungraded coin is that there is some toning (or whatever it is) on the coin that wasn't there when I submitted it. PCGS is working it at this time!

    I received an e-mail today from PCGS saying my grades were in. My submission was received 3/6/03.
    Less then one month ago and this was economy not modern. Turn around time seems to be picking
    up.

    Toning? That formed in a month? You don't seem all that concerned about it - I personally would find that more than little troubling.

    I am concerned! That is why I have contacted PCGS and they are to contact me Monday with info. I am providing a before and after photo for proof!

    The coins I submitted were the free grading (nothing is free) that comes with the membership to PCGS.

    I think PCGS wanted to get the Roosevelts out before the full band designation went into effect. It
    would have actually been to my advantage if it would have taken longer. Now as soon as I get them I'll
    have to send them right back for designation review. Ahhhhhhhh, Just can't get a break.

    The reason I asked is that a lot of people think the membership freebies are economy, and post nice turnaround times for them. I'm glad that yours is the real deal and hope that it's an indication of improvement.

    Your turnaround for economy was faster than mine for full-boat regular that I'm still waiting on from 3/5. Of course that's because they friggin' lost my check and I had to send another one. They didn't even tell me, I contacted them because it hadn't cleared my bank.

    I've had an economy submission in since JAN. 31!

    RGL,

    Does PCGS say they have your invoice? That's a lifetime, like when you were 5 years old and Christmas is 5 weeks away, when you're waiting for coins. I hate waiting that long.

    I have an invoice that's only been in the system since 3-17 and it's killing me. image
