Help me get my set on the registry

I'm not sure how to get my set on the registry. It's a 99 Bowman Chrome Gold Refractors Set. I submitted a request about 3 months ago and nothing has happened yet.

There is already a regular Bowman Chrome and Bowman Chrome International Refractor set on there so I wouldn't think it would be too hard to add my set.

Hopefully some of you experts can help me out

  • Joel- Looking at the "Set Request" list, I don't see a 99 Bowman Chrome Gold Refractors Set waiting to be put on the registry. Your best bet is to contact BJ at bj@collectors.com and ask her what the status is. Perhaps it was just an oversight. Scott
  • I'm a bit suprised at the delay, I submitted my various Reds Team sets and they were on in about 4 weeks. Did you send in the apporpriate list, and include weighting. If you don't include proposed weighting (I suggest you use the same on from the 99 Bowman Chrome regular set), the process gets really long. With the refractor sets, its the same info as the regular sets, so there should not be any issues as to what cards are in the set or the weighting.

If you sent in everything they need, drop BJ or Gayle a line as ask if there is anything else that you can do to get teh set moved up on the list.

  • If the Gold Refractor version is numbered the same as the regular Bowman Chrome, you can use the Bowman Chrome set and just make notations in the comments box.
Otherwise contact BJ and I'm sure you will be accomodated. With all the sets being submitted it could have "slipped through the cracks"

  • Did you include 3 certifiaction #'s from this set when making the request? That could be your problem ....

How do you weight the set?

Is that the set that every card is serial numbered to 5? If it is, good luck on that one!

It's numbered to 25 not 5. There is a guy out there trying to put together the 98 Golden Anniversary Refractor set and he's doing quite well.
