What to do with Doubles & Triples? Help

I need a little advice. Most of you know that I'm collecting toned Peace $. For the most part, it is going very well. I have 19 of 24 needed. All toned. I also have a bunch of doubles and some triples.

Should I crack the doubles and put them into a nice album -- I do really like the feel of an album collection - especially silver dollars.
If so, which album -- older Whitman new Whitman, Dansco, Library of Coins or a Wayte Raymond album?

Do I start another toned Peace Registry set as a many here do with doubles? Imagine that 2 fully toned MS Peace dollar sets image

Should I sell some of the triples? Remember, these are very hard coins to find in the first place, should I hold them to realize the price increase? Or sell and get others interested in these coins as well as fund future purchases?

What are your thoughts since most of you have probably already gone through this with your sets. What have you done and are there any regrets?

Thanks, in anticipation, for the help,

Michael

Give them to me... then there won't be any more doubles image

I have both sold and kept some of my duplicates... When I have sold, I feel a sense of loss, but I have only sold to board members so I was happy for them.......

would love to see the ones you have as set #1, as well as the ones you're considering getting rid of. I've got a modest toned peace collection and am always on the lookout to add to it.
    thanks

I'd sell the duplicates. Use the funds either to finish out the few you have left, or buy something really cool that you've wanted for a long time, but just wouldnt bring yourself to pay that kind of price. One thing I wouldnt do is brake them out of the holders. It makes the coins tough as heck to get a premium on if you ever decide to sell. It's much easier to buy raw coins than sell them.

    ...just my thoughts.

Sell the extras you don't really want and get coins you really do want.

You are getting sleepy..... sleepy...... send them to ccr free of charge.image

I agree with Lucy, it would be pretty tough to get rid of something your already attached to. Especially something as nice and unusual as a toned Peace Dollar. So I guess I`ll suggest go for a 2ND set.

Crack the lesser of the grades ( or the duplicates you believe to be inferior if the same grade) and put them in albums.

    Cool, Squire!

    Michael,

Keep the doubles for speculation, sell the triples to realize cash flow towards purchase of the other 5 you need.

I know it is not that simple... just thought I'd pass on my thinking.
