As some of you know BJ made this announcement on the set Registry forum on April 1st (it wasn't a joke)
"Today marks the first day that PCGS will begin adding the Full Band designation on the Roosevelt dime series.
Dimes added to your Roosevelt dime sets on or before March 11, 2003 are eligible for a free review through June 30, 2003.
The coins should be submitted under our “Designation Review” service, normally $10, but PCGS will waive the charge for Registry Set holders of record as of March 11, 2003. The receiving department has a list of those set holders, and will accept coins from those sets for a free FB review. Please remember though, that you will be responsible for return postage.
Population figures for FB Roosevelts begin with the September, 2003 population report."
Another decision was made today that will affect those not in the Set Registry.
"Mike Sherman has given the OK for the $5 discount on the designation review service for Roosevelt dimes. So through April 30th, if your dimes don't qualify for the free service (i.e. you don't have Roosevelt dime sets in the Registry), you can send your dimes in for the review service for $5 a coin."
Please remember YOUR PACKAGE MUST BE POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE APRIL 30th no exceptions.
