I have a chance to buy some rolls of Franklins.....Thoughts needed

I have a chance to buy 2 rolls of Franklins. One 1952 and one 1954. The 1952 is priced at $235 and the 1954 at $145. I have examined them and both rolls are all MS63 and better and most FBL. What are your thoughts........Ken

Ken - my gut tells me that if they are MS63's there's really no market for them unless you're putting a together sets of "UNC" coins to sell. I would hang on to my money and look for original rolls if you're into that and try your luck there.

I think if there are enough coins that will get atleast a ms64fbl then it is a good value. But here is where I get nervous with PCG's grading.
I have gotten killed on coins that I thought were surefire ms64's. In my opinion they seem to be inconsistent between ms62-ms64, yet, they seem to be awesome with ms65's and ms66's......

Also, even in original rolls, it is very tough to not find the majority of the rolls suffering from bagmarks. (which has one hoping for ms64s at best with rolls such as these).

I tell you what, sometimes you just gotta roll the dice. If I could locate original never before opened rolls of 53s Frankies, I would probably roll the dice and buy some, even though I still know that to find a fbl coin is very very slim......
