PCGS and pre-1700 thalers

I tried to submit a 1593 Mansfeld thaler to PCGS through a dealer. He called PCGS and was told PCGS won't slab pre-1700 thalers? I know you grade and certify pre-1700 English coins. Are there any plans to grade/slab pre-1700 thalers in the future.

    Don...Whoever answered for PCGS gave you the wrong info...sorry. We have graded thalers as early as the 1500s. Send 'em in!
