For those who like toned dollars

The picture isn't great, but you can get the jist of it - This is an MS64 dollar in an old green holder. the outer rim has an irridescent blue ring hugging a slightly reddish one closer to the center and the center is as white as I've ever seen any silver dollar - really cool coin!

    That is nice frank. Love it when they tone like that. I stuck a bunch of really nice, Raw Franklins in Wayte Raymond folders. Hopefully, in my lifetime, some or all of them will develop some nice peripheral toning.
    Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.

  • I like it Frank. I lucked up on an 1884 in an old NGC holder a few weeks ago which looks like that and is a borderline 65 in a 64 holder. Thanks for the picture!image

    Very nice contrast of white next to the blue.
