2003 Victory:
2 Hideki Matsui RCs
Green Parallels: Ichiro and Mark McGwire (those were the best two: one per pack)
Orange Parallel: Ken Griffey Jr. (best one: 1 per 8 packs)
Blue Parallel: John Smoltz 541/650
Solid Hits: Ichiro and Derek Jeter (among others, 1 per 4 packs)
True Gamers: Randy Johnson and Nomar Garciaparra (1 per 10 packs)
Difference Makers: Ken Griffey Jr. and Derek Jeter (1 per 10 packs)
Run Producers: Chipper Jones and Sammy Sosa (1 per 20 packs)
Winning Formula: Barry Bonds and Greg Maddux (1 per 20 packs)
not bad for a $16 box... happy with the two Matsui cards
1999 Topps Gold Label (HTA):
Base Cards of Ripken, Jeter
Base RCs of Burrell, Crede, Nick Johnson, Soriano (got the 4 big ones... nice)
Class 2 Gold Alex Rodriguez
Class 2 Black Ben Grieve
Race To Aaron Gold (least rare level) Alex Rodriguez
Well, the rookies made up for the rest of the box which was surprisingly crappy... eh
2001 Upper Deck Prospect Premieres:
Heroes of Baseball Dave Parker GU bat (who? I certainly wouldn't recall him as a hero of baseball...)
Heroes of Baseball Chris Burke/Bryan Bass/Bubba Crosby triple GU jersey (cool, 3 players from 2000 Olympic Gold Medal team, but BV of $10 for a triple jersey card hints that none of them have or probably will do jack schnap in the big leagues )
Toe Nash AU XRC (cool in fact that he signed Greg "Toe" Nash, but when I saw the card I let out the same quick outburst of nervous laughter as when I pulled a Rae Carruth AU recently, since both of them face long long times in the pokey... strange how things like that are so surreally sad they're almost funny)
Well, overall, I'm not cheering out loud, but I can't really complain either... *shrugs*
