  • While I'm at it I wanted to post front a back pics of a 1896-O morgan I just bought to, I hope I didn't pat too much for it. Since I'm new and don't know much. Also I got a question, should you ever tell how much you gave for a coin, if you plan on reselling it?
    Thanks,
    Greg

I,m not sure what you paid but I think if you paid AU money for the 1886 O you paid too much.
Its over graded at AU IMO.
The `79 CC its a tough coin in any grade.Even in that low grade of what looks like VG-08 to me,
its a nice nice coin to own.
As you say not knowing a whole heck of alot about coins and grading,I suspect you might have over-paid.
BUT,If your happy with the coins,it doesnt matter what you paid.

Its up to you to devulge your buy price to a potential buyer.Either way is the right way.I guess.
    Your call.

  • Thanks for your opinion I'm glad I never gave very much for it. I only gave $22.50 for the 1896-O Morgan and $32.00 for the 1879-CC Morgan. Hope I didn't do to bad.
    Once again Thanks,
    Greg

  • I agree with the grade on the 79-CC of VG...from the picture I'll say it's probably had a "good" cleaning too...but I think you paid reasonable money for it. The 96-O looks like a solid EF....can't really see enough to determine how close to AU.
