Crap! I lost $50 on this card!!! HAAAAA

I bought a Emmitt awhile back for $230, now I just resold it and it only ended at $177! I thought for sure I would get my money back! I bought it too keep it, but I have gotten 4 Emmitt autos, so im kinda tired of them and this card doesn't really float my boat..

actually is $53 you lost....lol..sorry..had to point it out...that sux really bad but thats ebay for ya..ebay prices have dropped on some items since the "war"(is that word taboo now around here ...hope i dont get in trouble) just pack the card with some bricks and charge $53 shipping...lol

If your ticked off at losing only $50+ man then you haven't been in the game very long or don't like to buy real pricy cards. I've lost hundreds on deals and shake it off because I know I will make it back on something else. You win some....you lose some. That's the game man, consider yourself lucky it's only $50 and change and not $1000's....

kr580 & seth2720. Both you guys are @$$ess! You guys buy your freaking g@y game used cards or crappy auto's and bi$ch about losing $50? Try someone who dropped $30,000US on a PSA 10 Jordan RC or $25,000 on a Jeter SP PSA 10.....or some Tiger Woods cards. That's what I'm talking about.

Me I have not lost that kind of cash on a deal but I have lost as everyone who has dealt with cards has. Now at one point that Jordan was still moving up past $30,000US and BGS 9.5's were hitting over $50,000....who was the dumb ass who picked one up at $15,000US and sold it for $28,000US in one month? Yea I guess I'm pretty dumb for making $13,000US in one month right. There are risks in collecting, some people like to take bigger risks than others.

So as I was saying, you win some you lose some....$50 is nothing man...heck that's what Shaq drops on Shaq pack combo's after the game.

its not too hard to predicte the fate of a brand. You know awhile after if comes out, it cools down and all those sky rocket prices that came out when the product was new, drops. It was also obvious to predict when the GU market was gonna get flooded (hockey always comes out before FB, and when there first flooded year came, you knew football was coming)well collecting rookie cards are always a gamble, and usually you are going to take a loss. Once the product cools down the entire set drops in value so if you have a rc you either gotta dump it when its new and hot, or hold onto and see if the player will goes anywhere and maybe it will go up. Chances are it will go down. I dont think the autos I buy are crappy either, Walter Payton, Dan Marino, Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith and other HOFers. They are all low #ed, and are in the hottest sets ever made. In my collection as of right now, I havn't seen a card drop in value in along time, and when I end up feeling like selling something, I know I can get back what I payed. I dont know what happened to the Emmitt Ink, that winner got a STEAL!!

Emmitt is alright, Im getting tired of collecting his autos though. I have too many..I think his career is pretty much done, I dont know why Arizona signed him, hes not gonna be any superstar there.
