I am doing a Gold Proof registry set, but I don't have pictures up yet.

So far a 2 1/2, a 3, a 5, a 10, and two $20 Liberties (albeit not PR 65's). Would like to add a Saint and maybe someday make it a type set. Oldest is an 1850 $20 that is defined as a "Presentation Piece" attributed to a "Dr. Green" since there are no official records to confirm that proofs were made that early. Anyone who knows anything about the auction or other history of said coin please PM me. (Breen mentions the coin but states he never saw it in person.)

    Have had all the denominations: $1, $2.50, $3, $4, $5, $10, and $20

In one year alone (2001) I handled 5 Stellas. Back in the mid 1980's the company I worked for handled a complete set of matte proof gold. 1908-1915, $2.50 thru $20.

  • Zerbe, I hope that you eventually post photos of all your Registry sets. I especially would like to see your proof Barber Halfs.
  • Yeah I had one until I found out that it was a counterfeit that was struck somewhere in the middle east image
