Willimantic coin show. Two new coins purchased.

I'm back from the show.Bought two raw coins. A 1938 D/D Buffalo nickel and an 1883 CC Morgan dollar.I would grade the 1938 a MS-65 or 66. The Morgan looks like a 63 to me.Small cresent toning on obverse and reverse.
To me the show seemed rather brisk with more dealers this year than last.Stopped by Bill Jones' table. He has some beautiful coins. He had two Connecticut commemeratives side by side.A PCGS ms65 and a NGC ms64.The ngc coin looked much nicer to me.
For those of you looking for a large motto 1864 2 cent piece talk to Bill, he has three mintstate coins. Two ngc and one pcgs. The pcgs was 64rd I forgot the grades of the other two.

We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
Took me a couple of hours to get down there. I found the show to be ok. Nothing spectacular and not a lot of worthwhile material floating around. A lot of "stuff". I did see a very nice 1797 half dime in an ngc 62 holder, that was fantastic, and also $17k+
I did sell just about every piece I brought down there (all but two, but I was asking a lot for the coins, and wasn't going to budge....not yet anyway
I made a quick run around looking for something to catch my eye, and when nothing jumped at me, I knew I was going to be in for a long day sifting through a lot of material. The only other coin that caught my eye was a nicely toned 1806/5 50c in a pcgs holder, that was very attractively rim toned, but I couldn't get a price on the coin (I find this almost hilarious). One guy needed to talk to another to get a price, and he couldn't find him.......blah, blah, blah. I told him to hunt me down when he got a price. I think they wanted to keep the coin
If I remember anything else, I'll post it later......gotta run!!
