Does anyone know of any doubling in the letters of "in god we trust"?

I'll check my VAM book when I finish work. I believe there is a variety with motto doubling but I don't think it commands a significant premium.

the VAM book has nothing about this doubling.....
wish I could help more but no knowledge here also.....

No doubled motto, but half the known varieties have doubling in the date.

Ok thanks.Probably a fatigued die.It has three die cracks on the obverse and three on the reverse.

As previously stated, there are 9 known die marriages for the '83-CC with only Vam 4, with an unusually strong doubled date commanding a premium. None of the others mention doubling on IGWT. Maybe if you can't nail it down to one of the known varities, it is yet undiscovered.

I do not know of any current 1883-CC Morgan VAMs that fetch a premium. But its still a CC dollar...

There aren't any significant VAM's in the 83CC series - just some nice coins!
