Yes it is, and I'll take it. (Just kidding).
    Excellent coin, superb luster.

It looks like a very nice coin!

Would like to see a little more light on the
    obverse......gotta have a few ticks somewhere.image

The luster appears to be outstanding!

Wow is right. Though you have to wonder... it is in the most recent NGC holder, so why doesn't have a star? If it looks this good in person, it should IMO.

The lighting is just plain weird. Nice fantasy, though.

I wish the lighting showed more, but it does look nice from what you can see.

Looks great, but I have to wonder if part of it isn't the scan job. If you look at this person's other coins, many appear to have little or no marks, but on many pics the detail isn't sharp. This implies the scans were done in a way (not saying it was intentional) that maximizes the luster and minimizes the number of hits shown, but at the cost of showing small details. Once again, I am not saying the seller did this intentionally, but that is what it looks like to me.

All the coins in this sellers auction "display" a similar look. I suspect some imagery wizardry. A nice looking piece of Peace though.
  • Image wizardry ? Hardly - the effect is produced by lighting though. Shine a light across the surface of a coin from the side and the luster lights up like that. Even on a heavily toned coin with great luster underneath - it will shine through when lit properly.
    knowledge ........ share it
  • They didnt have to give it a star, they gave it a 66 already! In a 35 that is good enough. Im sure there are some ticks on the coin, but Im also sure that this coin would 66 in anyone's holder. It's certainly worth the money! image
