Has anyone noticed that.............

....P Rarities and jp-themint are always bidding each others coins up all the time on Ebay, I tend to believe that it is the same person or at least they know each other very well........this just bugs the fire out of me...what is anyones elses take on it. If I am wrong about this one, then I am sorry, but it is all the time.

jp-themint has bid on 70 auctions in the last 30 days (that have closed), winning 21 of them. Sixteen of those were p_rarities auctions, and jp-themint won 13 of the 16.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Doesn't mean much. Now you have to check inventories. If the coins that were purchased remain in the original inventory, than something is up. Tough to prove anything is going on, if they follow through with the transactions.

JP really runs the key dates up. He won a nice PCGS VG '77 indian from me a while back and paid dearly for it. When I see him bidding on something I'd like to bid on , I go ahead and forget about it.

I not so sure that Jay and P rarities are shillin

Jay is a strong buyer of key-dates, and p rarities always has them for sale?

Jay has always bid strong on any key-dates that I have had up for auctions, and won a few in the past.

Until recently, I was wondering how he can pay such strong money for these dates, but he has a tremendous clientle that buy from his published price lists.(If you have seen his price lists, then youll know why he bids strong)

JP has bid on a lot of my auctions, and I have never conducted any business with him. I think he takes a shot ( with low bids) at a ton of material on ebay, hoping to pick up some cheapies. He also bids on nearly every key date, especially Lincolns.
