    the card isn't that great, i mean if it is a mantle rookie in that condition, i would buy it, but i think it's just some regular vintage card. plus, that mint card was extremely mint (kit young).

    all the cards are pretty worthless, but i could care less... i still collect him

    a 1951 Richie Ashburn Blue Back is no regular vintage card, the blue backs are rarer than the red backs from 1951 and Ashburn is a star. I don't think I would bid $25 on it but I can see where someone can, and yes, buying lower grade cards until you can afford higher grades makes sense, I do it too because I can't afford high grade vintage all the time.

    Nash, are you a huge 1951 red/blue backs fan or just an Ashburn fan? I love the 1951 set and have several myself. I also have several Ashburn cards in lower grade condition if you're ever interested, just pm me..

    I am a big Ashburn fan...Unfortunately, I dont collect vintage, so i dont know what i would trade you...but let me know what you have...maybe we can work something out

    no problem, they aren't in horrible shape, but they aren't in perfect either.... I don't care for modern cards too much, but I'd be interested in any gameused of older players from the 1940's through 1980's....
