I understand that PCGS just hired Mike Sargent back as a grader
but I also understand that they lost another grader
does anyone know who left???

It's not THAT common to "change" graders frequently.
I was at NGC for seven years. There are two graders still there, who were there when I arrived in 1991 and another who began work there some time in the mid-1990's.
I believe that the young grader you are refering to is Ryan Carroll.
Edited to add: There are at least two guys at PCGS who have been there for a LONG time, as were Rick M. and Mike S. before they left.
