How can i know if my 2 cents has LM or SM size letter?

I cannot distinguish the letters: IN GOD WE TRUST.Even if i had a pic of my coin u cant see those letters.Then,how i know if my coin has Large Motto or Small Motto letter???

This may not be the best answer, and as much as I like the design, I am not well versed in the peculiarities of the two center. That being said, check the 56th ed of the Redbook, pg 104 for some diags. If you don't have it, let me know and I'll post it, and any other info I can find, but if you do have the Redbook, you may be able to make the distinction.

The Small Motto's letter are a bit small. Hope this helps!

I interpreted the OP as saying that IGWT was worn off the coin, and asking if there was any other way to distinguish between the two.

I am open to correction, but I believe the only way to distinguish the two is the shape of the O: round, SM, oval, LM. If IGWT is indistinguishable then you are SOL.

If you have a good or lower coin- with letters worn off, you might be able to tell by the stems on the leaves below
we and trust.

If there is some of the T in trust left, you might be able to tell by how far it goes to the ribbon on the left.

If you can barely tell you have a 1864, it may be difficult.
