    Yes.
The S mints are plagued by weak strikes!!!!!! that one is pretty decent!
you should see my PCGS VF35!!!!!!! 26s!!!!!!! horn is nearly identical!
  • A little bit of topic but look at the smoke this guy is blowing. "Fresh from a local estate, hasnt seen the light of day for decades, etc etc AD NAUSEM! I wouldnt buy a coin from people like that even if I knew it was worth more money. And it certainly will not be worth more money because people who blow smoke like that will cheat you, thats why they do that stuff.

goose: I thought the 21-S were not as weakly struck as the 23-S and 26-S. I stand by my grade.

I don't know for sure but that one looks pretty darn good. Where's Coinhead!?

No lie tho, it looks like the reverse of my 26s!

I'd call it a very nice fine, but not very fine.
  • Many 21s buffalos are graded VF 20 based on overall wear and not full horn, in all three top grading service holders. Top dollar VFs are what the gray sheet price is based on IMO. Buy the coin. not the slab is valid here.

My PCGS VF25 looks just like yours. So I would say its graded right.

I think its fine. That's wear we're seeing, not weakness of strike.
This '21-S appears to have been decently struck.
