1922 no d for grading

I have a 1922 no d Lincoln in an ANACS holder. Can it be sent for regular grading and left in the holder? Thanks...........Ken

  • Yes , send it in the holder. Is this for a crossover ? If so you can stipulate to cross at any grade or at present grade.

  • This is a regular grading submission of about a dozen different coins..

  • I dont think so. your gonna have to crack it , or do a crossover.

  • Crossover submissions have to be listed on a separate invoice.

contact PCGS customer service and find out straight from the horses mouth. i recall someone posting last summer that they had submitted in the holder as a regular submission, similar to sending mint products still in the round capsules.

  • ksteelheader,

Forgive me if this question seems a bit daft, but This is a great learning place.

Does a '22 no D have a ghost D, or is there another sign that it was made with a mint-altered die?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

I know there are at least three different die states, die pair three is worth the least. The weak D might be an entirely differt story-------BigE
