Looking around for a 1946 Roosevelt for my collection and saw this.image

    A large number of 46-s's broke years ago and got slabbed by NGC.
    I cherry picked 3 real nice ones from out of 20 one dealer had in Boston at $20/coin. Tried my darndest to get $30 or more for them.
    Honest 67 coins with great color...in old holders. Even tried Teletrade and with a so-so description I got $28 for one (less commission I think I got a net $15 or so). Finally dumped the last two for $22.50 each after a dealer countered my $25.

    The one pictured looks a lot like one of the 3 I owned.

    Looks great.....

    Roadrunner....patience is a virtue. Of course, bulls and bears make money, pigs get slaughtered. Too bad you didn't keep them.

    I don't think FDR dressed in a wedding dress. At least, not in private. Now J. Edgar Hoover...
