Got this one recently. Very old NGC holder. Very, very, very cameo, DMPL obverse (yes, even better than the pic)....but the
reverse is just an average PL and nothing special (hence the PL grade). Still, this is one of those rare cameos that actually
looks very cameo no matter what angle you view it from, whatever the lighting. Black and white, baby!!!!

Who looks at the rev anyway? That is a really frosty obv.

Yes, it is a nice looking DMPL. It has nice thick frost. I hope you got it at a great price.

Is this an example of coins rotating in holders or are the high areas cleaned?

I got one in yesterday just like that, its in an ANACS holder and the reverse has an arc of rainbow toning from 8 to 4 oclock. A thin arc, not real deep. I am at work now, cant get a photo til tomorrow. Obverse looks just like yours, mile mirrors and deep, deep frost.

There is nothing like a frosty cameo. I have a truly wonderful cameo morgan with exceptional frost and luster on the obverse with just a regular reverse. The frost is very thick and very inviting. The reverse is OK. Still a premium piece for the grade (just a 63 due to a big dig in the chin among other light marks in the prime focal area).
