Off-Topic Anyone good with Computers?

Tried to switch CD-RW's today and the new one doesn't read CD's. Everything has been hooked back up the way it was and installed the software that came with it. Any ideas?

might be a dead CDR...i had a problem when i got my laptop...wouldnt read discs...the drive was dead...had a wire switched around by accident

my only cd-rw drive spazzed on me, one day it just decided to eat the CD, lol...are you SURE you have it hooked back in correctly?

you have to install the drivers, not just the software.
