Will PCGS Accept For Grading Proof Coins That Are Still In The Official US Mint Packaging?

If so, do they charge to grade every coin in the set?

If you send in the entire set, you have to get every coin graded.

I've found I actually get better grades when the coins are sent in the original packaging. Nothing scientific here. Just seems to work that way.

Yes, and every coin will be graded. No option to not do it. If you have a single coin proof in a holder (for example, a proof SAE) you can send it in the holder and they'll open it for you.

Does that include the Mint sets as well?

    Peetie,

Same applies to Mint Sets but at least you can cut them up and send in what you want. Have to be careful though because that mylar can be deceiving and actually hide a lot of things. Things that seen without the mylar would preclude one from submitting them in the first place. Dave
