I know: What was the first coin you got and do you still have it and why? Sorry, that's all I could think of at the moment.

Too long ago to remember the first (probably a Morgan for 1st communion). First memorable coins were 7 Mercury dimes given to me by a customer on my paper route. She gave them in a Whitman folder. I took over the route just after Thanksgiving and the Mercs were a Christmas tip. The folder was replaced but I still have the coins.

I was given a 1928 quarter eagle as my first coin. My grandfather gave it to my dad and he gave it to me.
I still have it, of course and I grade it a solid MS70+ for sentimental reasons.
