As I mentioned in the thread about the 1879-S Morgan I also bought an 1897 Morgan.I had been having trouble capturing the toning but came up with these images. The coin looks a lot better in person.
There is a glare on the bottom of the second picture and on the top of the first picture but that was the only way I could capture some of the toning.The toning travels all the way around the rims even though the pictues do not show it.
