Auburn Ma.

Just got back from the Auburn Ma. show. It was pretty well attended. There really was not to much fresh stuff there. Nothing at all in my area. There were a few raw toned dollars at one table that came from Baltimore, but nothing really special. Gold was not moving at all, I think everyone is waiting for the price to settle. Saw some nice comen's. if you like stone white ones. Alot of the same dealers with the same STUFF. Saw some young kids there with their fathers and or grandfathers which is always nice to see. Hope someday to able to take a grandchild with me. That will be awhile though since I do not have any yet.

Action at Auburn was well attended by the public. A lot of dealer to dealer action in the first 2 hours also. Anything priced reasonable sold. I was able to sell a 1955 DD 1c in PCGS 62BN that did not get any interest at FUN. Also sold a dazzling PCGS PF66 3c nickel for $600 vs blue sheet value of $500. Starting to see some new interest in 19th century type coins in the 64 and up Mint State grades. It's about time. Here's a 70 year spread of coins largely ignored.

Next week's show at Willimantic, CT should be extremely well attended. A fine one date a year show. See you all there.

I skipped Auburn this month. Trying to save some pennies for the Willimantic CT. show. image

    TD,

I sense that you're perhaps getting picky.........or else that collection is now so mature it's hard to find the right material.image
