Recession, war and coin prices

The coin market has certainly had some ups and downs in the past twenty years. I have not found any direct correlation between the several recession periods and war time and their impact (or not) on rare coin prices.
Any ideas out there as to where the market wil go in the next 6 to 12 months?

If ignorance is bliss, shouldn't we have more happy people ??

From a professional standpoint collectors seems to buy coins for their collections come hell or high water.
Prices move in direct correlation with supply/demand. As long as collectors want coins, and demand is strong as I see it, market values (with the exception of generics) should maintain forward momentum.

There still should be some normal rotation of interest, creating some weakness in certain bypassed and/or overlooked areas. In the distant future when they're spending big bucks per coin, a recession will have a dramatic impact on many coin prices.
For common coin prices where pops are growing faster than the number of collectors, it doesn't take a recession to cause a price adjustment, only some realization (perhaps belatedly) of the facts!!
I don't think collecting right now is as important as it was before.
I thank God for our troops willing to lay their lives on the ground so we can collect, or live at peace, or what ever.
The long and short of it is--I don't care where prices are going--it is simply not that important right now.
