At this price, you could break it up and make some nice money.

Maybe at the price it's at now, but think of the work. Many of these as separates sell for $20. a pop (other than those SMS's and early coins).

It's a lot of running around for coins you might clear (after eBay fees) a couple of bucks on each.

I saw a recent set- all NGC holdered, like this and thought about it then and decided, after the calculations, to pass.

C'mon Braddick. The '68 - '74 will bring a lot more than $20 a piece. As will the 2 Type 2 coins. Both of the '76 coins will do quite a bit better with some people paying more than $100 for the Silver. All of the Silvers in '92 - '98 will bring better than $20. I think you could sell the entire set, individually, for $2,100+. Even after Ebay fees & PayPal fees, there is a nice profit.

"Other than those SMSs and early coins". That is my original statement. Did that get lost?

The closing price, IMHO, will not reflect a lot of room to break this set down and market the coins individually- I just don't see that happening.
Now, if a Collector wanted and "instant registry" this would be a sweet way to go about it, I guess but to turn around and spend the energy to resell at any kind of a healthy profit, I don't see that happening.

Just ran the numbers and the set looks like a good deal. Not a great deal but if someone wnated a set they couldn't put it together any cheaper.

"this set completely graded by PCGS"

How did that En Gee Cee slab get in there?

If the Acct Hair were a little higher I would be interested.

I wish Todd luck in bidding on his own set. image

i haven't seen one more blatant this this guy. the seller's name is todd rabenold and the hi bidder just happens to be 'toddrcoins'. this guy either has no clue or very large stones to do this.

Unless the "clad 1964" is a real unique clad 1964 I have the wholesale price on the unit around $1000. Retail wise sure if you can sell it, it might bring around $1500-$1600, but that is alot of work.

I agree. And that's assuming this set will close somewhere close to what it is now.

What I like is that the bidder Russ speaks of is they have the ebay ID of toddrcoins and the lot of PR69 Kennedies is being sold by Todd Rabenold (ebay ID dana_j).

What would a good price be for this set? I don't collect them but i'd buy a collection of them if that makes any sense =)
