Poll: Who's the "maggot"?

First of all, I just hate bringing this up here. I know, it sounds like a couple of kids! But I feel that some people just don't get it, and certainly don't listen to just my reasoning. Perhaps a poll here can suggest just who was out of line. In dealing with board members, I think it would be nice to know the parameters of ethics most here would recognize.
The simple facts:

Member "A" needs a certain coin for his registry set.
Member "B" has multiples of this coin.
Member "A" makes an offer to member "B" for one of his extras.
Member "B" turns it down, making a counter-offer.
Member "A" accepts the counter-offer, and sends a check(inluding more than enough for shipping).
Member "B" recieves the check and states that he will send the coin when the check clears.
Member "B" then "suggests" that member "A" "kick in" something extra, since another of these coins sold for more on eBay.
After much haggling (and "waiting for check to clear"), member "A" finally recieves the coin.
Member "A" feels no need to tell member "B" that the coin arrived, since he's still in no mood to say anything nice.
Member "B" calls member "A" a "maggot"!

So, who's the maggot, A or B? A simple "click" will do.

Thanks for your views.

    Where's the option for "both"?

I don't know about being a maggot, but if someone did that to me, it would be the last time. IMO, unless there's more to the story then what's being presented, member B is just being greedy. If member B wanted more, they should have asked for more before the sale was finalized.

Now, if you would have asked "Who is the bigger maggot", I would have voted B. Once an offer is accepted, it should not be renegotiated. But, A should not have stooped to B's level by not informing of the coins arrival.

    Just my opinion.

I think it's safe to say that you and Paul are still w/the majority(see other board) in thinkin' that it might just be a wee bit less ethical to try to extort a fellow member as compared to not notifying the extorter of the coin's arrival! image

There are a bunch of Maggots out there that do not acknowledge when they receive coins or for that matter when they receive anything. I think I'll start calling people Maggots when there is no acknowledgement of receiving a iten I sell on Ebay. Wow that should really help the Feedback Rateing.

The part about receiving the coin is a Mute and trivial part of this deal gone somewhat bad. The gist of this is a seller consenting to a Deal and getting the Money then seeing that he #$*&#) Up. Obviously he better pay more attention to what he is doing.

JMHO as always. The seller did deliver the coin so that is a credit to his integrity. Again JMHO.

I really don't think either is a maggot. Just a round of tough negotiations.

Man, there've been a number of times where I've sold something, and the "same" coin goes for more money shortly afterwords on e-bay. If you agree to a price, the negotiations are over. You cant go up. And it's down-right rude, in my opinion, to ask for more... or even insinuate that you want more. Besides, as a seller, you're not going to sell at a big lose. 90% of the time, it's for a profit. ...you dont have to get top dollar for everything you sell.

    Best wishes,

"B" is obviously a maggot, while "A" is just a little fed up with "B." My question is, who are the maggots who thought that "A" was a Maggot and not "B?"
