old SMR

I am moving and have come across old SMR and Pop Reports. I did not look at all of them, but I did see 1996, 28 pages. It lists 1952 Topps commons PSA 10 $250.00. Is there interest in these?

MARTY - I no longer need one, since a dealer friend of mine saw the post and is sending me a bunch of them. I imagine others would be interested as well...jay
  • I have the Promo Issue of the SMR from August 1994. 20 pages in all. Amazing that a 1951 Mantle PSA 10 sold for as much as $27,500. Sounds like a bad investment.

    Those were the days...

I have a November 1994 Issue. It's 20 pages and has a $5 price on the back cover. What I find amusing is that they have Gem Mint 10 prices for all post-WWII cards, and they are typically 40% to 80% higher than the listed PSA 9 prices. Today they don't list vintage Gem Mint 10 prices and based on what I've seen on eBay and major auction houses, Gem Mint 10s sell typically 250% to 800% higher than 9's, depending on Population and so forth.
