Ever use MS70? Its a super slimey soapy cleaner solution.
It says you can use it on copper but it will ruin copper.Turns coin blue usually.
It works good on silver but you,ll have a time rinseing the MS70 off with water. Gotta use acetone too to wash away any MS70 residue. If you dont rinse it well you get red brown toning that isnt very eye-appealing...To me anyway.
It works best on cutting through junk like tar, dirt,PVC,tape goo, etc.
It's good if you know how to use it.It's not a dip.you should use a cotton ball, and go over the coin gently,it works great to bring back the luster on lincolns.I also find it will sometimes chang the color of the coin only if the coin has some carbon,or dark toning. Rolls that have been stored for quite some time aquire a dull sheen,I find MS70 works best for these coins.Al
Thanks to everyone for the imput on this product. I was only kidding about the doctoring bit but do want to try it on some old junk coins of all types to see the results.
