After over 6 months of trying I finally bought a beautiful 70DCAM zinc Lincoln for my modern (1950 to Date) registry set. I decided I wanted one of each denomination in 70DCAM. For now I am satisfied with 6 70DCAMs. I want to see how prices go in the next year or two before I consider the more expensive ones.
Thanks to the following Board members and dealers who helped me find these perfect and beautiful pieces.
Lincoln - Numismatic Consultants
Jefferson - Carl Wohlforth
Roosevelt - David Lawrence
Washington - Lord Marcovan
Kennedy - CameoCC
SBA - A Board member a long time ago, but frankly I forgot who. Sorry

I wonder though, I am only .5 points below you with no PR70DCAMS. Is the premium on these coins really worth it?

I think 70DCAMs are one of the most speculative areas in coin collecting. I have no real idea if the premium is justified. So, what I decided to do is buy the ones I could get for $500 or less, and pass on the more expensive stuff until we get a better view of things. One thing though, is that as far as I can tell, the 70s in my set really are perfect under 5x. I had to return a lot of pieces (mostly Kennedy Halves), which were clearly not 70s under the PCGS definition. My view is that if you are buying these, make sure you are buying a perfect coin, and not just the holder.

Congrats for great set.
However......"each denomination in 70DCAM"
Did you forget the American Eagle Gold, American Eagle Platinum and the Commemorative Gold (hehehehe).

BTW, I used the coins I had left from this set to start a 20th Century Major Type Set, No Gold and entered at #12, picked up another 8 or 9 coins and now I am at #12.

Nice set you have going. Only three more pieces needed. Looks like you can get in 3rd. or 4th.
