timely ncg correspondence

I just received an email from Dena at ngc letting me know that my membership in their society is expiring. I thanked her for the note, but declined to join/rejoin any of the numismatic clubs or societies until the CEOs duked it out, or at least arm wrestled.
Isn't it all so silly?
I originally paid the 99 bucks to ngc, to see the Numismatist, and the gradings were somewhat a bonus. So, as a member, I saw a very blah Numismatist and acceptance of foul money from the ANA, and my coins came back with recommendation from ngc to send them to nct, or whatever the "clean the coin" company is named.
Adrian proposed that ngc and pcgs communicate, ie., share, get along?
I'm just happy that they both enjoy using a somewhat similar 70 point scale for grading, the english language, U.S. dollars as a basis for trade, and the decimal system.

WELLINGTON (Reuters) - A NZ$200,000 ($112,000) dispute between two New Zealand companies has been resolved in an unusual out-of-court settlement -- a best-of-three arm-wrestling match.
The chief executives of the small telecommunications companies -- Teamtalk Ltd and MCS Digital Ltd -- squared off after their firms were unable to reach an agreement on access to a mobile radio network.
The dispute had already been the subject of a complaint with competition regulators and was heading for the courts.
"Sure, losing hurts but not nearly as much as paying lawyers bills," defeated TeamTalk Chief Executive David Ware told Reuters.
Are you a member of Collectors Universe? If so, when does your membership expire? Do you plan to re-join?
