Anybody else ever pull a Topps repurchased card?

I got one in a pack of 2002 Topps Traded, pure junk. It was some Browne guy, 5 cent common. They are 1:24 packs so it should at least be a minor star. Anybody else get junk like this?

eh, that's their idea of a "buyback." Complete and utter trash....pretty bad, I know....but, that's how it works.

Even if they want to do commons, at least stamp them buyback or some other unique marking, so they will be a little be more rare. For the high end or vintage buybacks this wouldn't be a good idea.

  • repurchase? More like overstock.
  • Man, the stuff in 1996 PPF (a CLASSIC/SCOREBOARD product, for crying out bloody loud image ) was better than the repurchased garbage I've seen in 2002 Topps Traded image

I pulled a 1953 high number cards from last years heritage. It was a redemption, when I got the
card it was decent..maybe a 6! I also pulled a 88 Matingly variation from this years topps and that
    card was mint

I pulled a 1987 Topps Traded Matt Nokes that would grade out at about a PSA 6 from 2002 Topps Traded. Thanks Topps!
