Fort washington show

I am new to this message board and want some info on the fort washington show. You guys have talked about it before. I would like to know if it is worth driving four hours to go to it. I am starting football and basketball sets on the registry.

Welcome to the boards. I drive almost 3 hours to go to it. Occasionally I set up, but usually I go there to purchase cards & collectibles, talk to the dealers and even nab a free autograph. Many of the big time dealers across the country (& Canada) set up along with some local dealers as well. The card selection is mind boggling and its always worth my time, effort and expense to go. I'm sure many others would agree. And It sure beats those damn mall shows...jay

Damn Jay, don't be talking badly about mall shows.image The last one we had featured 12 dealers. I even saw some cards from "before" 1990. Living in Iowa sucks for finding cards...
  • Great Show, Plenty of everyting from mainstream to oddball...

RW2WIN - 12 dealers, I'm impressed! My local mall show in Maryland had 5 or 6 dealers at the last one. And no one carried any supplies. I have more cards laying on the floor (ask my wife) then all the dealers combined image ...jay
