How Do You Put A Picture In A Post

OK, I know I am ignorant, but can't figure out how to put a coin image in a post. I have a file of images. In a post I click attach files and attach a link to the image. Then when someone reads my post, they can click the link to see the image. But, I see that everyone else gets the pictures directly on their posts without the need to click a link. How do I do that?
Thank you

Attach a photo like normal to your post. Then view your post. Right click on the attachment and it will be a location like h t t p://forums.colectors.com / coin.jpg.
Highlight that location and copy it. Then edit your post and click on the image icon. This will allow you to paste that address into the link that pops up, and your attached image will now appear in the post.
Like this:

Then you browse to the server where your image is.
Then you can select the address of the image which shows up in the address area of your browser, and select Edit/Copy.
Finally when posting you can click the Link icon labeled http and you will be promped for the address. Here you can to a Control V, hold the CTRL button down and press the v key at the same time.
That should do it! Then the next question is "Who has some free space for my images?"

Your original link didn't work because it's missing a "1" at the end of "images".

You mean this one?

And how about that, an old dog has learned a new trick!!!

They deserve to show up in the body of the post. Way too nice to be left as mere attachments
