jb, its not the first time, I believe its the 3rd time on EBAY......they've got no takers so far.

I'm kinda leary even though I need that piece, I'd rather have a gorgous non-FSB for oh-so-much less!

    marc....

the 18 s in your set, does it have orange rim toning? I had one in my set and sold it recently and wonder who ended up with it. When I bought it 8-9 months ago there were only 3 others in ms66 now there is 8. Within 3 months it grew to 8 from 4, so I figure someone was trying for a pop top.

I am suprised some die hard has not bought those guys 45p

    JB,
The 18-S was described (FUN'03) as flashy gem w/beautiful preservation, and a hint of yellow-green color....not sure if it qualifies for orange , but to me it looks more blast white.....whatever the light distant coloring is its graded very well, both sides are pristine, I totally love it.
Someone definently trying a pop top on this one is not common at all, and I know the FB is like well over 7K image

  • I bought a few coins from them in the past , always a nice coin. They do have some high prices on some of their coins especially the 45P . They have had those 45P's for al least 5 or 6 months. They also have some 45P with 50% and 80% full bands. This I dont understand, its either full or not full bands to me.

  • I will wait on the 45P 65fb, one of these days. Not a real show stopper for me right now, in fact it may be the last one to update to 65fb, unless the prices come down some in the future.

Dennis, I don't look for the 45P FB to ever come down to where I could justfy it. I just won't pay 5 figures for a coin that I have in a beautiful 67 that I paid less than 100 for. I'm just not hung up on those bands I guess.

  • I totally agree, but when the set is all the same, it just looks good, but one of these days...we will see.

PCGS 66 with about 40 to 50 per cent band detail. The coin was snagged from Ebay last Wednesday I think it was. Took a shot and it worked. Thought the bands had some detail from the auction photo and sure enough they do. Actually my photo does not show as much detail as there really is.
