Beating a dead horse?

I know that this subject has been just about beat to death, but one more aspect of The Banning:

I took a look at the agreement we all clicked when we joined. These are excerpts from the agreement:

"Any message posted on our forums expresses only the views of the author of the message and does not necessarily reflect the views of these forums or any person or entity associated with them....you agree that neither these forums, nor any person or entity associated with them, will be held responsible for the contents, accuracy, completeness or validity of any information posted in them."

"You agree that you will not use our forums to post any material, or links to any material, which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law."

"These Forums reserves the right to edit or delete any message for any reason whatsoever, at our sole discretion. You agree that you are solely responsible for the content of your messages, and that you will indemnify and hold harmless these Forums, e-Zone Media (the software manufacturer) and their agents and employees with respect to any claim based upon the appearance and/or transmission of your message(s)."

You Legal Eagles may be able to put a spin on it better, but did Greg really violate this agreement?

See the whole agreement here.

    CD,

The "right" of PCGS in this matter has not been in question. It is whether it was wise business-wise or in PCGS' best interests for Mr. Hall to exercise that "right" in the way that he did.
  • The horse is dead. Either bury it or eat it!!!!!!!!

Neither of them were banned for violating any agreement. They were banned because of BS and one-sided statements critisizing PCGS and according to Hall that wouldn't have been a problem if numerous dealers and customers had not complained. Of course its always good PR (NOT) to blame anonymous sources for your actions. That part of his statment is what frosted my mug.

Actually dead horses are used to make fertilizer. Maybe that applies here. image
