Should Major Dealers have all coin series listed on their websites ??

Here is my rationale for this question.
I am a newbie collector wannabe and just curious about coins. I do not know much (other than what is in circulation today). I do a search (Yahoo, Google etc.) and come to a dealer's site who appears reputable and large. I have found some SBAs and Ikes that someone in my family left behind for me. This is now my first experience (before I get any books, go to a dealer, face-to-face etc.). The dealer site that I found does not even have this series listed (so I am not sure if they really existed in circulation, were they commemoratives, tokens etc.).
Now I am not suggesting that every dealer needs to have SBAs or Ikes in their inventory, as they may not specialize in them, they may feel they are only worth face value, they may even think that as a couple, those two were the ugliest possible coin couple and should not even exist.
However, does it hurt the hobby not even listing them ? Thoughts ?

Why should they list something they would not sell?
No....I prefer dealing with the specialists - they know what they're talking about. If they list all series, I generally avoid them.
a coin made after 1964. Price guides sometimes ended at '64 and when coins were
listed they were all at the same price which was nominal and the price was usually
only for the highest possible grade. Even in the mass media, when a coin was pictured
it was almost always a pre-65 coin. At the typical coin show it would be easy to have
come to the conclusion that no coins had been minted after '64. Collectors were extreme-
ly few and far between. I didn't even hear of a collector until 1980 and didn't meet one
till '86.
No. There's no point in a dealer listing coins he doesn't sell. Eventually all dealers except
specialists will have to sell these coins anyway.
That was a hypothetical situation, I have been collecting for over 30 years now.
Cladking,
I know, I was there 10 years ago, in fact that is when I re-kindled my likes with the Ikes, since they were in circulation during my teen years and I, like others, had ignored them for the seated stuff, Morgans, Peace etc.
