Joe Morgan checklist

Does anybody know where I can find a Joe Morgan checklist? He has been listed to be added to the player registry for about a year and I thought I would send in a proposed basic and master set to help speed things along. Thanks for any help.

    Wayne - The Beckett Alphabetical is a really good source for player checklists. Best of luck on that one.

    Sorry for the double post...

    Wayne- Thanks for stepping up on this set. I was the one who requested it last year, but have been concentrating on getting the Bench set updated and the Perez set listed. I think we probably should request some higher weights for some of his earlier cards. Here's what I propose:

    '65 10
    '66 6
    '67 4.5
    '68 3.5
    '69 3
    '70 3.5
    '71 7
    '72 2.5
    '73 2.5
    '74 2.5
    '75 2.5
    '76 2.5
    '77 2.5
    '78 2
    '79 2

    Let me know what you think. I have no clue when this set will be listed. BJ has had my proposed weights for the Perez set for a few months, and it doesn't appear to be making it any higher up the list, and has even been passed by a few sets.

    The file I sent you didn't include the 1985 cards, but if you think the 1985 cards should be included they are: Donruss #584, Fleer #431, Leaf #28,Topps # 352, Topps #5, Topps Tiffany #352, Topps Tiffany #5, OPC Stickers #5/6, OPC Stickers #325, and OPC Minis # 352.

    So, what do all these lists mean? What if I wanted to buy a Joe Morgan rookie PSA 10? How many are out there? What would it cost me?

    Sorry--I know baseball, but I am a beginner as a collectable trader.
    I am always looking to invest in high-PSA Joe Morgan cards.

    jmorgan8, when they're saying 1965 Joe Morgan "10", they are referring to weighting the card 10 points. As opposed to easier issues which are weighted less, and consequently cost less.

    The last 1965 Morgan PSA 8 on ebay went for a little over $200 (SMR $175). The SMR on a 9 is $900 – but I don’t know what the last one sold for - there are 19 9’s. There are only 2 10’s – it would be VERY difficult to find one!
