WHAT IS A SHIFTED PLANCHET?

I received one with a package that I ordered the other day, but I dont see anything wrong with the planchet. I was wondering if anyone could explain what this exactly is and he/she had picture of one that I could compare mine to just to see what the difference is. Please foregive my stupidity in this matter.
