Been away from the forum this week. Had to put my beloved dog to sleep. Man thats a hard thing to do. Anyway I got a lot of new coins in the mail and wanted to share a few.

I thought this franklin had a cool pattern, anyone know from what?:

This Peace dollar has beautiful colors I just couldn't capture right. I like it:



Also picked up a few raw toned morgans and a cool 1960 double proof set in those capital holders with all rainbow toned nickles & pennys at the coin shop.

Nice Frankey. An interesting coin-cidence. I too happen to have a 1960 textile toned Franklin.
It must have been a good year for that type of toning. Is there a pattern to this pattern?

Very nice coins Lori! Can't say exactly how the Frankie got that way, perhaps in a bag, but if that was the case, it may have been in a bullion bag as opposed to a bank bag. Does anyone know if halves came in $500 bags back then?

Good combination. Textile toning on the Franklin and Fingerprint toning on the top JFK.

I'll bet the FBI has that print in its database.
