Is the PCGS Message board addicting?

Do you find that participating in the PCGS Board is like watching a Soap Opera?

Sometimes I do.

Each day bring something new to the saga. May the saga continue.

It's only addictive to those with susceptible addictive personalities, ie., obsessive compulsive hoarding habits, acute attentiveness to personal money matters, uncontrollable competitiveness, etc. image

And those of us totally bored at work image

I like having a place to talk about coins 24/7, getting a chance to learn from real experts, hearing what's going on in the market, and having an opportunity to meet people in person via contacts made here.

    That's what's addicting to me.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Hey, Registry! I resemble that remark!imageimage
"The essence of sleight of hand is distraction and misdirection. If smoeone can be convinced that he has, through his own perspicacity, divined your hidden purposes, he will not look further."

  • Of course the message board is addicting, but alot of members are leaving now and moving over to other forums now, man David Hall sure did make a big mistake.
  • Do you think those same people will submit their coins to other grading services? They may not participate in the forum the way they did before but the economics of the hobby will still dictate where they have their coins slabbed.

I enjoy(ed) everyone on this forum and respect their opinions... The pictuire of the dog embracing the cat on the couch a few days ago was one of the funniest pictures I've seen in my whole life...Yes Todd, it's addictive!

is the pcgs message board addicting?? WELL MAYBE ........

currently with the banning and the new policy it is a definate NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pcgs should have monitored the boards before all this eurpted and i think what they did for banning evp and greg darka went way overboard

before you judge others you had better clean your own house first and believe me you got some issues yourself ............................ kind of like the pot calling the kettle black

pcgs should reinstate evp greg and dakra

the above is my understanding if the above have not been banned then i was misinformed

    sincerely michael
