Passing on the Mercury dime set

I can't believe that I got passed and not one signal. I thought we all agreed to give at least hand signals when passing. OH I am crushed.

OK, OK, guilty as charged. I have been admonished by my peers. I knew I was supposed to give PT a passing signal, but I was kind of distracted and forgot. I intended to PM you PT, but got sidetracked. PT, I extend my personal regrets and hope you will forgive me. I am sending you a make up Merc, just send me your mailing address! I will take my lashes just like Ken and Dennis did, I hope I deserve them!!!!!

    regards,

    Wayne

    Pat:

As I recall, about a year ago we were in a similar situation, with you 1 rank ahead of me. Now, after a year and after spending lots of $$$$, you are STILL 1 rank ahead of me and I think we've fallen back a notch or two. I assert that there is no mercy amongst Merc collectors!

    No mercy at all.

I can't believe how many dimes have been added to all the sets.

    Pat:

I agree with 100% about the number of dimes added. It would be fun to see a print-out of the Merc registry from a year ago. We'd see a bunch of new people and a bunch of old people whose sets have increased.
