Comments on this toned Morgan?

What do you all think of this one? I would really like to hear from the others who collect toned Morgans. This photo is extremely accurate as far as the color reproduction and the depth of the toning.

AT job gone bad? Just kidding. Please don't take offense here but I would call it "not so pretty."

The monotone russet color, although somewhat unusual, is not especially pleasing. I would guess the coin should sell for a small premium over a white coin of the same quality. It seems to be NT, and that verdict would be strengthened if the reverse is mostly white with just a touch of toning at the borders.

It looks just like a coin in my collection. It has screaming luster and resides in a 66 holder. Although some may not like the color in the scan in person I bet it it looks pretty nice. Mine also has proof like surfaces under the toning, maybe this one does also. TD

I like it. Looks like envelope toning to me. Definitely not AT.

Toneddollars- it is not prooflike under the toning unfortunately. But the luster does scream out from under the toning, and that is one thing you can't see in the image. Here is another image at a slightly different angle, including the reverse:

The toning appears to be okay. I like the coin, but please consider posting a piicture of the reverse so we get a look at the complete coin.

79-S was a good year & mint. Most of them look like this. Look at the hair over the ear. image
