Too harsh

I for one want to commend HRH for the time he takes to come on these boards and listen. As a small business owner I know feedback from your customers is very important.
Changes can happen quickly in a small company, in a larger one like his it takes longer. IMO some of the board members are a little too harsh in their comments about his recent changes.
Give the guy a break, you can't please everyone all the time!
Now i'll just kick back and await the flames!

You stated it very nicely....... Its easy to chastise if you've never been there!
PCGS is the best or they wouldn't be getting 72,000 submissions a month, and it takes a while to "gear-up". They could, of course hire me to be a grader and I could speed things along! :-)
I, for one, am very pleased with the new "crossover" service.
These changes have been a long time coming, but thanks to this board, many complaints are being addressed.
That is how I see things lately, and will end it here for fear of being labeled, A** K****r. By the way did anybody notice these announcements were made while Hamstaconda and Laura were out of town ???

The CEO of our company has had to wade through 60,000 layoffs in 14 countries - and shareholder lawsuits - and employees who were both afraid and stressed (less people, more work). He is the kind of person I admire in a CEO. He has handled it all with aplomb and tact. He has put himself out where we can talk to him and interact with him (he actually lets us send emails to his private account if we wish - not common for a fortune 500 company). He has demonstrated honor and valor through the worst times the company has ever seen.
David, although not going through something as drastic as our company's CEO, has showed guts, determination, personal will, and patience with us and this forum. I have a healthy amount of respect for a person like that. I know that all of us won't be happy about everything that gets decided or done in our collecting and dealing worlds - but he has done an admirable job. I also know that he has earned the respect he has - it wasn't given to him.
I think we should be honest, up front, and candid - but we should also realize that he doesn't have to spend his evenings with us if he doesn't want to.
Big Bear.
