What does a seller mean when describing a coin this way?

The set includes acid date coins but is still a very nice set.

Most likely referring to Buffalo nickels. The date on Buffalos wore away really quickly. Sometimes a small dab of acid will slightly reveal the date. Some dealers and collectors do this in hopes of finding a rare date. Sometimes they succeed.

It means the dates can't be read with applying a little acid to bring it out.

It adds to the value of a no date coin, but it takes away most of the value when compared to a non-acid date version of the coin.

A discoloration/staining, usually lighter than the surrounding area, of the date.

They usually market- the semi keys and keys, for about 10%- 20% of the GD04 price.
