Well, they're running Windows 2000 Server with IIS 5. They should just restart IIS. Take about 30 seconds and will probably fix the problems. That'd flush out the memory the ISAPI filters and extensions have been allocating.
Yes, assuming that is the issue. Other parts of the Internet are slow so it could be ANOTHER worm or their ISP. A reboot could not hurt but for about three minutes.
True, though this is the only site on the net that is crawling for me. In that case, the IT staff should be taking the computer off-line, fixing the problem, and rebooting. Assuming, they've set up all the security stuff like iis lockdown, set up the registry keys for windows, and are running urlscan.
No kidding! This is too painful to continue with. At least I got through the better part of 'War and Peace' while waiting for the pages to load. Guess I'll go finish that.

We fended off two in as many days this week at the ISP I work for.
They could always upgrade to a system not made by Microsoft. Would fix these sort of problems as well as save some money.
